Taiga
Immerse yourself in the region of Taiga, characterised by vast coniferous forests.
Take a seat at one of the many picnic benches while enjoying a cup of delicious coffee or a refreshing ice cream from Sequoia. You will come across this venue first after entering the ZOO.
Next to Sequoia is the Water Playground. As the name suggests, when the weather is good, children can have fun here by splashing around with water. This playground is perfect for younger children and for a visit on hot summer days.
Limburg
Limburg is the heart of the ZOO. Discover unique biodiversity and endangered species that are only found locally.
You can have an extensive lunch in the large park restaurant Acacia. Here you will find a wide range of tasty dishes and delicious drinks. Or take a seat at Hortensia for coffee, ice cream and also (gluten- and lactose-free) pastries.
At the edge of the Acacia Terrace, you will not only find a large outdoor playground, where the little ones can climb, clamber and swing to their heart’s content. Here you will also find the large indoor DinoDome.
Rainforest
Enter the hot and humid rainforests of South America and Africa, and the vast plains of Pampa.
Unwind at the PampaLodge, where you can enjoy Argentine delicacies by a crackling fire. Check the daily programme for the current opening hours of all our venues.
While (grand)mum and (grand)dad enjoy all the goodies South America has to offer on one of the terraces around the PampaLodge, the (grand)kids can release their energy on the TreeTopTour. Did you know that each lodge has its own playground in GaiaZOO? Hours of fun guaranteed!
Savanna
In Savanna’s vast landscape, you will come across typical African animals.
Toast to the good life with a good glass of African wine from the atmospheric SavannaLodge, while the kids have a break at the playground. Enjoy the view of the graceful flamingos and be immersed in African spheres.
Walk past the viewpoint of the painted dogs and you will emerge at a large outdoor playground: the SavannaTour. Are you ready for the high slide? Swoop down and land with two feet in the sand! Admission without adult from 4 years.
